My family lived in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, between 77 and 79. I’ve recounted some of this elsewhere - but musically, the only memory I have during this time was Star Wars. I was 7: primed for Star Wars to colonize my little brain. I marched up and down the living room to it, imagining I was about to receive a medal for my bravery! I have a memory, as well, of putting Elvis Golden Hits on the record player.
